Indrajit Dasgupta has been elevated to the position of Executive Director at Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE). In this strategic role, he will play a pivotal part in enhancing the organization’s operational excellence and technical capabilities, supporting its growth in complex shipbuilding and engineering programs.

With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Dasgupta brings deep domain expertise across shipbuilding, maintenance, and large-scale engineering operations. Prior to this elevation, he served as Chief General Manager at GRSE, where he contributed significantly to key projects and operational efficiencies.

Before joining GRSE, he had an illustrious tenure with the Indian Navy, rising to the rank of Commodore. During his service, he led critical functions in ship maintenance, repair operations, and logistics management.
