Apramey Saxena has assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Vedanta Zinc International (VZI), strengthening the company’s commercial leadership as it advances its global growth strategy.

Saxena brings extensive experience across the metals and mining value chain, having held senior commercial roles within Vedanta Group, Vedanta Sesa Goa Iron Ore, and Hindustan Zinc. Throughout his tenure, he led international and domestic marketing portfolios spanning zinc, lead, silver, and pig iron businesses, driving revenue expansion, strategic market development, and key global account partnerships.

At VZI, Saxena will oversee global sales strategy, customer engagement, and market positioning initiatives, aligning commercial execution with evolving international demand dynamics. His appointment reflects the organization’s commitment to strengthening its global footprint and reinforcing its position among the world’s leading zinc producers.
