Cijo George has been appointed Vice President & Head of Artificial Intelligence at Practo, marking a significant step in the company’s strategic push toward AI-led healthcare transformation. He will spearhead the organization’s artificial intelligence vision, accelerate AI-native product innovation, and scale intelligent platform capabilities to enhance patient experiences, optimize clinical workflows, and enable data-driven medical decision-making.

George brings deep expertise in building enterprise-grade AI platforms and machine learning infrastructure. He previously spent over four years at Observe.AI, most recently serving as Director of Engineering, AI Platform, where he led large-scale AI engineering and applied ML initiatives. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Belong.co and was part of the Advanced Technology Group at NetApp. Earlier in his career, he was associated with Indian Institute of Science and Nokia, strengthening his foundation in research, distributed systems, and AI engineering.

His appointment underscores Practo’s ambition to embed intelligent automation and advanced analytics across its digital healthcare ecosystem.
