In his new role, Bathla will lead Imperial Auto’s global manufacturing operations, with a mandate focused on improving productivity, accelerating automation and technology adoption, strengthening supply-chain capabilities and driving greater consistency across the company’s manufacturing network. He will report to Vikram Wagh, Managing Director and CEO of Imperial Auto.
Bathla brings more than three decades of experience across the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Before joining Imperial Auto, he served as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Plasser India. His earlier leadership experience includes roles at Blue Star, Motherson Sintermetal Technology, Eicher Tractors and other manufacturing organisations.
His appointment comes as Imperial Auto focuses on building a future-ready manufacturing organisation and strengthening its capabilities across global markets. Bathla’s experience in operations, manufacturing excellence, automation and business transformation positions him to support the company’s next phase of growth.
