EPL Limited, a Blackstone-backed global leader in specialty packaging, has appointed Hemant Bakshi as its Managing Director and Global CEO, marking a strategic move to strengthen the company’s global footprint and sustainability initiatives.

Hemant brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the FMCG sector, having held key roles at OlaConsumer as CEO and at Unilever in multiple global positions, including President Director of PT. Unilever Indonesia and EVP of Unilever Marketplace. At Unilever Marketplace, he successfully connected over 250,000 small retailers with leading FMCG brands such as Unilever, Heineken, and Coca-Cola, achieving a GMV of $1 billion within two years.

An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and Harvard Business School (Executive Education – Leading Global Businesses), Hemant is renowned for driving innovation, sustainability, and scalable global growth.

In his new role, Hemant will lead EPL Limited’s global strategy, expand market presence, and accelerate its vision of becoming the world’s most sustainable packaging company, reinforcing EPL’s commitment to excellence and responsible business practices.
