With over 18 years of leadership experience across fintech, insurtech, and digital platforms, Sanjay brings deep expertise in engineering excellence, innovation, and scalable digital transformation.

Before joining Axis Securities, Sanjay served as Chief Technology & Product Officer - DBAT at Freecharge, where he led the development of modern digital products on AWS EKS and embedded robust DevSecOps frameworks to enhance the payments ecosystem. At HDFC Life, he played a key role in pioneering insurtech innovations like Data Lake (Atom), Reco Engine, InstaQuote, and Life99, driving customer-centric digital adoption.

In his new role, Sanjay will lead Axis Direct’s technology strategy, focusing on building next-generation digital platforms, elevating customer experience, and accelerating the company’s journey toward tech-driven financial excellence.
