HCLTech Wins Multi-Year Engineering Services Deal from Volkswagen’s e.solutions Manufacturing

HCLTech has secured a multi-year engineering services contract from Volkswagen Group’s software subsidiary, e.solutions, further strengthening its position in the global automotive technology sector. Under the agreement, HCLTech will support the development of next-generation automotive infotainment and connectivity platforms for multiple vehicle programs and international markets.

The engagement will focus on the development, integration, and validation of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software built on Android Automotive. The collaboration aims to enhance digital in-car experiences by delivering advanced infotainment systems, seamless connectivity, and improved user interactions for future vehicles.

Commenting on the partnership, Uwe Reder, CEO of e.solutions, said the collaboration with HCLTech will help scale HMI software development while ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and user experience across diverse vehicle programs.

Pankaj Tagra, Chief Growth Officer at HCLTech, highlighted that the company will leverage its AI-driven engineering capabilities and deep automotive expertise to accelerate the development of world-class infotainment platforms. HCLTech currently employs more than 227,000 professionals globally and reported revenue of $14.7 billion for the 12 months ended March 2026.
