HCLTech has announced the elevation of Sandeep Saxena, a long-serving company veteran, as Chief Growth Officer – Growth Markets 2, reinforcing its strategic focus on high-potential regions including India, the Middle East, and Africa. Based in Mumbai, Sandeep will report to C Vijayakumar, CEO & Managing Director, HCLTech, and play a pivotal role in driving market expansion and client-centric growth.

The move aligns with HCLTech’s sharpened emphasis on India as a global growth engine. Commenting on the appointment, Vijayakumar highlighted India’s role as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies and reiterated HCLTech’s commitment to supporting the Viksit Bharat and Digital India initiatives through public sector digital transformation and globally relevant innovation.

Sandeep Saxena joined HCLTech in 1998 and brings over two decades of leadership experience across geographies. He has been instrumental in scaling HCLTech’s European business and most recently led multiple industry verticals across Europe, delivering significant client wins and strengthening market presence.
