Gravensure has appointed Pankaj Arora as its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, bringing nearly three decades of experience in the general insurance industry to the newly established company.
Arora has spent 28 years building and scaling insurance businesses, with expertise spanning distribution, retail insurance, strategic partnerships and business transformation.
Before joining Gravensure, he was associated with Raheja QBE General Insurance as Managing Director & CEO from 2019 to 2023. During his tenure, he grew the business fourfold in three years, earning the company recognition as India’s fastest-growing general insurer in 2021-22.
Earlier, Arora was a founding member of Liberty General Insurance, where he built its retail business, overseeing P&L, agency distribution, OEM alliances, bancassurance, digital partnerships and marketing.
He also served as a growth leader at Emoha between 2023 and 2025. At Gravensure, he will focus on building a new-age general insurance company.
