Kanika Kalra has joined Google as Director of Consumer Apps and Platforms Marketing, where she will lead marketing strategy and growth initiatives for the company’s consumer applications and platforms portfolio.
In this role, Kanika will focus on strengthening brand positioning, accelerating user adoption, and expanding the reach of Google’s consumer technology ecosystem across key markets. Her appointment reflects the company’s continued investment in building stronger marketing leadership to support its expanding consumer product portfolio.
Kanika brings over two decades of experience across consumer technology, digital platforms, and global brand strategy. Prior to joining Google, she served as Regional Marketing Director – Health, South Asia at Reckitt, where she led marketing strategies for the company’s health and nutrition portfolio across South Asian markets.
Earlier in her career, she spent several years at McKinsey & Company as a Partner, advising leading organizations on consumer strategy and digital transformation. Her professional journey also includes leadership roles at Snapdeal, Unilever, PepsiCo, and GSK Consumer Healthcare, where she built deep expertise in brand growth, marketing innovation, and consumer engagement.
