Electronics design and manufacturing startup Elecbits has secured $5.5 million in Series A funding, led by Nexus Venture Partners, marking a significant milestone in its mission to transform India’s hardware landscape. The funding round also saw participation from SE Ventures Energy, the investment arm of Schneider Electric, and Riverwalk Holdings, a Singapore-based India-focused fund.
Founded in 2019 by Saurav Kumar Singh and Nikhil Rawat, Elecbits offers an integrated platform for electronics design, prototyping, manufacturing, and quality control. Its AI-enabled engineering and manufacturing platform, Elecbits XOR, lies at the center of its rapid-build approach. The company manufactures printed circuit boards (PCBs) and end-to-end electronic products, including industrial drivers, e-payment devices, and low-power e-ink display systems used across retail, logistics, and automation.
Elecbits serves over 200 enterprise clients, including marquee names such as Panasonic, Schneider Electric, Motherson, Urban Company, Zetwerk, Maruti Suzuki, Ola, and Valeo. The new capital will be used to expand Elecbits XOR, strengthen engineering capabilities, and build in-house manufacturing capacity as global companies diversify supply chains beyond China.
Industry leaders cited Elecbits as a catalyst in India’s growing electronics ecosystem, enabling faster prototyping, high-quality builds, and next-generation product innovation.
