Dr. Rajan Pental has taken on a new role as Financial Services Sector Leader at PwC India, bringing more than 35 years of experience across banking, financial services and strategic leadership.
In his new role, Rajan will lead PwC India’s financial services agenda, focusing on demand generation, strengthening strategic client relationships and helping organisations navigate a rapidly evolving financial services landscape.
Before joining PwC India, Rajan served as Executive Director at YES BANK, where he held several senior leadership positions across retail and branch banking. He also served as a Non-Executive Director at YES Securities. Earlier, he spent more than a decade with HDFC Bank as Senior Executive Vice President and held leadership roles at ANZ Grindlays, TATA Finance and Escorts Limited.
His expertise spans banking strategy, business development, risk management, digitalisation, payments and financial inclusion.
