Diageo India has announced the elevation of Visionary Leader Amitabh Pande to its Executive Committee as Chief Strategy Officer, effective June 1, 2026. In his new role, Pande will report directly to Praveen Someshwar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, as the company sharpens its focus on strategic growth, consumer insights, and digital transformation.

With over 27 years of experience across consumer strategy, marketing, business planning, and insights, Amitabh Pande brings deep expertise in building growth-led business strategies for multinational organizations. Since joining Diageo India in 2021, he has played a key role in driving consumer planning initiatives, strengthening strategic capabilities, and accelerating digital transformation across the business.

Prior to Diageo India, Pande held senior leadership positions at IKEA and PepsiCo, contributing significantly to brand growth and business expansion. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from Hindu College.
