Rakesh Patil has taken up the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Jalgaon Janata Sahakari Bank Ltd., marking a new step in his professional journey within the banking sector.
Patil announced his appointment on LinkedIn, confirming his move into information security leadership at the Maharashtra-based cooperative bank. His transition builds on his existing association with the institution, where the bank’s administrative directory previously listed him as Senior Manager in the Information Technology department.
His experience within the bank’s technology function provides a foundation for his move into cybersecurity leadership, an area increasingly important to financial institutions managing digital services, sensitive customer information and evolving cyber risks.
Patil also holds the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA, which was issued in October 2025, according to his LinkedIn profile. The credential reflects a professional focus on information systems auditing and control.
