DHEERENDRA MISHRA has taken on a new role as Deputy General Manager – Business Development at NTPC MINING LTD, marking the next milestone in his distinguished 18-year career in the infrastructure, power, and energy sectors. In his new position, he will lead strategic operations focused on business diversification, partnerships, and high-impact growth initiatives for NTPC’s mining division.

Prior to this role, Dheerendra served as Deputy General Manager – Contracts & Procurement at NTPC Limited, where he spearheaded procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract management for large-scale infrastructure projects. A Certified International Procurement Manager (CIPM) and Certified International Procurement Professional (CIPP), he has successfully negotiated Capex and Opex contracts, including one worth ₹30,000 crore, ensuring value optimization and risk mitigation.

Holding a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Economics, and pursuing a Master’s in Business Laws, Dheerendra combines technical, legal, and managerial expertise to drive sustainable growth.
