Dell Technologies Joins Forces with NxtGen to Build India’s Largest Sovereign AI Factory AI

Dell Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with NxtGen Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to establish India’s first and largest dedicated AI Factory, marking a major milestone in the country’s sovereign AI journey. The collaboration leverages the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA platform to create a national-scale AI infrastructure designed to meet India’s rapidly growing demand for advanced AI compute.

As part of the deployment, NxtGen will build a large AI cluster powered by Vertiv liquid-cooled Dell PowerEdge XE9685L servers and integrated rack systems. The facility is expected to deploy over 4,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, supported by NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs and NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking. Dell’s storage and general-purpose servers will further enhance the platform’s ability to deliver high-performance AI training and inference at scale.

The end-to-end infrastructure stack, spanning hardware, software, and services is engineered to support a wide range of workloads, including generative AI, agentic AI, physical AI, and high-performance computing. This AI Factory will serve enterprises, startups, academic institutions, and government initiatives, strengthening India’s domestic AI capabilities while ensuring data sovereignty, scalability, and performance.

By combining Dell’s proven AI infrastructure expertise with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing technologies, the partnership positions India to accelerate innovation and build a robust, future-ready AI ecosystem.
