Startup Stories
Eternal founder and Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has pledged $25 million from his personal wealth to expand his longevity-focused initiative, Continue Research. Launched around two years ago, the project is a research-driven platform dedicated to exploring ways to extend human life and enhance overall health through studies on ageing, nutrition, sleep, and mental wellness.
Unlike conventional startups, Continue Research functions as an early-stage funding platform for scientific exploration. The fund aims to support scientists and entrepreneurs addressing fundamental biological questions and developing health tracking technologies. According to Goyal, the initiative is fully self-funded and intended to back researchers globally, promoting what he calls the “conscious evolution” of humanity.
Continue Research will provide seed funding to early-stage teams working on ageing, preventive wellness, and health optimization, including projects that aim to slow or reverse aspects of biological ageing. The mission is to significantly improve human longevity and quality of life through sustained scientific inquiry.
While Goyal continues to lead Zomato, Continue Research operates independently and is not tied to Eternal, marking his strategic foray into longevity and life sciences. The initiative reflects a growing focus on deep science, long-term human health, and transformative research.
