Capital One has appointed Pooja Ranjan as Head of Human Resources for Capital One India, where she will focus on talent strategy, workforce planning and organisational transformation.
Ranjan brings over 25 years of experience in human resources and leadership, having held senior positions at AntWorks and IBM India. Her appointment comes as Capital One continues to strengthen its technology capabilities and talent base in India.
Commenting on her new role, Ranjan said she was thrilled to join the Bengaluru team at an exciting juncture. She also expressed her commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace culture where data scientists, software engineers and technology leaders can collaborate to address complex challenges in the financial services industry.
Capital One India has operated as an integral part of the company’s global technology network since 2004. Its capabilities span data science, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, software engineering and analytics.
With Ranjan’s appointment, the company aims to further its focus on talent development, workforce strategy and organisational effectiveness.
