Bank of India has announced the appointment of Prabodh Parikh as Shareholder Director, following an unopposed election, marking a significant leadership addition to the bank’s board. With over three decades of distinguished experience in the banking and financial services sector, Prabodh brings deep expertise in project finance, corporate banking, and risk management.

Before this appointment, he served as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at the State Bank of India (SBI), where he played a key role in driving strategic business transformation and operational excellence. He was also deputed to the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) as Officer on Special Duty, contributing to the establishment of India’s leading development financial institution for infrastructure financing.

Prabodh’s extensive leadership experience, including his international stint as Head of Credit at SBI New York, will further strengthen Bank of India’s governance framework and strategic growth roadmap.
