Ashley Frost, PhD has been appointed as Vice President, Research and Evidence at FHI 360, where she leads the organization’s Research and Evidence portfolio and supports a multidisciplinary team of researchers and applied scientists across global health and development. She previously served as an ESOL Educator at Arlington Public Schools and spent 14 years as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Federal Government, where she led major international health and education initiatives across multiple countries.
In her new role, she brings extensive expertise in research, evidence translation, international development, education, diplomacy, and cross-cultural leadership. Her experience includes spearheading a $4.4 billion Presidential Initiative for health assistance across 55 countries and leading more than $2.5 billion in international health and education programs. At FHI 360, she will focus on strengthening research quality, relevance, organizational learning, and the connection between rigorous evidence, programs, policy, and strategy.
