Anand Wasker has taken on the role of Chief Business Officer – Apollo International at Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Limited, effective October 2026. He brings nearly three decades of experience across healthcare, diagnostics, banking, telecommunications and business management.
Before this appointment, Anand served as President – Global Services at VLCC, following his role as Chief Business Officer. Earlier, he held several senior leadership positions within the Apollo ecosystem, including Chief Executive Officer of Apollo Sugar Clinics and Apollo Primary Care, along with Chief Operating Officer roles at Apollo Dental and Apollo Clinic.
During his leadership at Apollo Clinic, he oversaw a network of 300 clinics across 55 cities, while his responsibilities at Apollo Primary Care extended across more than 500 clinics. He also served as Chief Operating Officer at Suburban Diagnostics, where he led business strategy, operations and expansion, contributing to significant revenue and network growth.
His earlier career includes over a decade at ICICI Bank in regional leadership roles across retail and commercial banking, along with experience at Reliance Infocom, Idea Cellular and Birla AT&T Communications.
