Amplitude has appointed Vijaye Raji, Chief Technology Officer of Applications at OpenAI, to its Board of Directors. Vijaye is the founder and former CEO of Statsig, which Amplitude acquired in May 2026.
Vijaye brings extensive experience in experimentation, product analytics and data-driven decision-making. Inspired by his work on Meta’s internal tools, including its Deltoid experimentation platform, he founded Statsig in 2021 to make advanced measurement tools accessible to developers, data scientists and product managers.
At OpenAI, he leads Ads, Growth and foundational data and engineering components. His experience across technology leadership, experimentation and product development is expected to support Amplitude’s mission to help businesses understand customer behaviour, experiment confidently and build better products.
