Kanodia Group, a diversified Indian conglomerate with a strong presence across cement manufacturing, real estate development, and allied industrial sectors, has announced the appointment of Amman Walia as its Group Chief Information Officer (CIO). With close to two decades of experience spanning digital transformation, enterprise IT strategy, and artificial intelligence, Walia brings deep expertise in driving technology-led business impact across complex, large-scale organisations.
Throughout his career, he has successfully led critical transformation initiatives across prominent organisations in the cement, infrastructure, manufacturing, and technology services domains. His experience includes spearheading enterprise-wide ERP and CRM implementations, advancing plant automation and IT–OT convergence, and delivering robust programmes in data analytics, cybersecurity, and AI adoption. Known for aligning technology initiatives with core business objectives, Walia has consistently enabled operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
In his new role, Walia will be responsible for shaping Kanodia Group’s enterprise technology vision, strengthening digital capabilities across business units, and embedding AI-driven insights into decision-making frameworks. His mandate includes accelerating digitisation, enhancing operational resilience, and building future-ready technology platforms that support sustainable growth across the Group’s diverse portfolio.
