Alan George has joined Silver Point Capital, L.P. as Managing Director and Head of Credit Financing and Leverage Solutions, bringing extensive experience in structured finance, debt financing and capital markets. Prior to this appointment, he spent nearly 18 years at Golub Capital, most recently serving as Head of Structured Products, where he led debt financing initiatives across the firm’s investment vehicles and managed bank ABLs, MML and BSL CLOs, capital call lines, repo and senior unsecured bonds.
In his new role, he is expected to leverage his expertise in credit financing, structured products, CLOs, asset-backed lending and debt capital markets. His background includes leadership in bank partnerships, financing strategy, securitizations, pipeline management, sales and origination, as well as investor due diligence. Earlier in his career, he held structured finance and commercial banking roles at ABN AMRO LaSalle Bank and Fifth Third Bank.
