Accenture and Anthropic have announced a strategic partnership to establish a dedicated team of embedded evaluators focused on strengthening AI safety. The team will work alongside Anthropic’s internal teams and safety partners to evaluate and red-team AI models, conduct alignment assessments, and test safeguards.
As part of the collaboration, Accenture and Anthropic each expect to invest at least $1 billion over five years in AI safety, highlighting the growing focus on responsible AI development.
Accenture will leverage its responsible AI capabilities and technical expertise through Faculty, the applied AI company acquired by Accenture. Faculty has experience evaluating AI models and developing complex AI systems across government, defence, healthcare and infrastructure.
The partnership will focus on embedding evaluation expertise directly into AI development and safety processes, helping identify risks and strengthen safeguards as advanced AI systems evolve.
The companies said the collaboration aims to support the development of safer and more reliable AI systems at scale.
