Abhinav Ravikumar Elevated to Chief Marketing Officer - Personal Care India at Unilever Leadership

Unilever has elevated Abhinav Ravikumar to the role of Chief Marketing Officer – Personal Care India, based in Mumbai, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on brand leadership, portfolio growth, and consumer-centric innovation across one of its most significant business segments.


In this expanded leadership role, Abhinav will oversee brand strategy, marketing transformation, and growth acceleration across Unilever India’s personal care portfolio, driving relevance, scale, and long-term value in a highly competitive consumer landscape.


Prior to this elevation, Abhinav served as Global Brand Director for Lux and Lifebuoy, where he led global brand strategy, innovation pipelines, and market execution across multiple geographies. Earlier, he held the role of General Manager – eCommerce India (Head, eCommerce) at Hindustan Unilever Limited, where he spearheaded the company’s eCommerce and Prestige Retail businesses. During this tenure, he drove strong growth across marketplaces, quick commerce, beauty platforms, and e-grocery channels, while improving profitability and market share.


He also played a pivotal role in modernising Unilever’s digital and commercial capabilities, leading initiatives such as predictive online availability systems, content quality scorecards, and automation-led promotion optimisation frameworks.
