The Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) has announced the elevation of Vinkesh Gulati as its new Chairperson, marking a significant step in advancing India’s automotive skill ecosystem. With over eight years of association with ASDC in leadership roles, Vinkesh will now spearhead initiatives focused on workforce readiness, skill development, and future mobility needs.
Since 2017, he has served ASDC as Board Member, Treasurer, and Vice President, driving impactful programs that align training with industry transformation. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in bridging the automotive skill gap and strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
Beyond ASDC, Vinkesh has played a transformative role in India’s automotive sector through his tenure at the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), where he held key positions including President, Vice President, and Founder Chairman – Research & Academy. He also continues to contribute as Senior Vice President at United Group of Institutions and Director at United Automobiles.
With his elevation, ASDC is set to intensify efforts in EV adoption, connected vehicles, and sustainable mobility.
