Sun Life has announced the appointment of Sujoy Ghosh as Chief Executive Officer for Sun Life High Net Worth, where he will lead the company’s global HNW business, focusing on deepening partnerships, expanding capabilities, and reinforcing Sun Life’s leadership in the high net worth insurance market.

Ghosh brings over 20 years of global experience across Asia, Europe, and international markets. Prior to joining Sun Life, he was Managing Director and Global Head of Insurance at Citi Global Wealth, also serving as Asia Head of Business Development, driving growth and strategic partnerships across APAC and EMEA.

He has held senior leadership roles at Allianz as Region Head of Partnerships and at ING as Chief Sales Officer and Management Board Member in Turkey, in addition to leading strategic planning and bancassurance initiatives across Asia Pacific, including ING Life Thailand.

Ghosh started his career with ABN AMRO Bank and Coca-Cola Enterprises in India, gaining expertise in human resources, strategy, and commercial operations. At Sun Life, he is expected to accelerate growth, drive innovation, and strengthen the firm’s position as a market leader in high net worth insurance.
