CtrlS Datacenters has appointed Rahul Dhar as President – Global Data Center Operations, where he will lead large-scale digital infrastructure initiatives and strengthen the company’s global presence. With over 25 years of experience in data center operations across India, Dhar has been instrumental in delivering scalable and resilient infrastructure to support cloud ecosystems and AI-driven workloads.
In his most recent role at Microsoft, he served as Country Director – Data Centers for more than 11 years, spearheading IT and non-IT infrastructure management across self-built facilities in India. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Tata Communications, Colt Data Centre Services, Vodafone Idea, Airtel, and Tata Chemicals, building deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, risk management, compliance, and operational excellence.
At CtrlS, Dhar will focus on deploying advanced GPU-based hardware to accelerate AI service capabilities, aligning with the company’s vision of enabling global digital transformation. His collaborative leadership style and proven track record are expected to drive the next phase of innovation and growth.
