ZUZU Hospitality has appointed Shekhar Banka as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Shekhar brings over 20 years of global financial leadership experience, having held key positions at PropertyGuru Group, Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance, HSBC Insurance, Daiwa Securities Capital Markets, and Synechron.

At PropertyGuru, he led corporate development and M&A initiatives, playing a pivotal role in shaping the Group’s regional expansion strategy. His prior stints at Deloitte and HSBC strengthened his expertise in corporate finance and strategic business development, while his nearly decade-long tenure at Daiwa involved advising on complex cross-border M&A and capital markets transactions.

An alumnus of the National University of Singapore (MBA, Finance) and IIT Bombay (B.Tech.), Shekhar now joins ZUZU Hospitality to scale the company’s financial strategy and support its mission of empowering independent hotels with innovative technology and profitability-driven solutions.
