Deloitte has elevated Satya Shankar Mahapatra to Partner – Strategy, Risk and Transactions. 

With more than 20 years of experience spanning risk management, strategy, capital markets, analytics, financial services, and regulatory compliance, Satya has established himself as a trusted advisor to leading financial institutions navigating complex business and regulatory environments. Prior to this elevation, he served as Executive Director – Strategy, Risk and Transactions at Deloitte and previously held the position of Director – Risk Advisory, where he advised clients on market risk, credit risk, Basel IV implementation, stress testing, climate risk, and enterprise-wide regulatory transformation initiatives.

Before joining Deloitte, Satya held senior leadership roles at Barclays Investment Bank, J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, Infosys, and Polaris Consulting & Services, leading large-scale risk transformation, treasury consulting, derivatives modernization, trading analytics, and financial services transformation programs across global markets.
