Vodafone Idea Limited has announced the appointment of Visionary Leader Sandeep Kataria as Vice President – Information Technology, where he will spearhead IT Development & Operations across Enterprise Support Systems. In this strategic role, Sandeep will drive digital transformation initiatives, core solution delivery, system modernization, business transformation, and large-scale innovation.

With 20 years of technology leadership experience, Sandeep has a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade, scalable solutions that optimize performance, reduce costs, and accelerate innovation. He has held key leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini, General Mills, GO FIRST, and Thomson Reuters, leading global solution delivery, consulting, and critical business transformations.

Sandeep holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering and a Postgraduate degree in Operations Management, complemented by certifications and training from Stanford University and the University of California. Renowned for his expertise in Technology Leadership, IT DevOps, and Global Solution Delivery, he is recognized for building customer-centric, future-ready IT ecosystems for multi-billion-dollar enterprises.

His appointment underscores Vodafone Idea’s commitment to strengthening its digital core, fostering innovation, and enhancing customer experience.
