Persistent Systems has opened its third facility in Hyderabad at Phoenix Equinox, Gachibowli, strengthening its delivery capabilities for banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) clients. The company has more than 3,000 employees in Hyderabad, with existing delivery operations at WaveRock and Sattva Knowledge City.
The new facility will support programmes focused on AI deployment, payments modernisation, cloud platforms and operational resilience for BFSI organisations. The expansion adds capacity as financial institutions increasingly adopt AI and modern technology platforms to transform customer experiences, operations and technology infrastructure.
Why It Matters
The facility strengthens Persistent Systems’ ability to deliver specialised technology solutions closer to BFSI clients, particularly as banks and insurers move from AI experimentation toward production-scale deployment.
Persistent’s Hyderabad expansion reflects a broader shift in enterprise technology services, where domain expertise, AI capabilities and cloud modernisation are increasingly being combined to address sector-specific transformation priorities.
