Marriott International Inc. has promoted Kiran Andicot to Senior Vice President, where he will oversee Operations and Development across the company’s South Asia portfolio. In this expanded role, he will focus on aligning growth with operating performance, strengthening owner partnerships, accelerating hotel conversions and openings, and building the region’s leadership talent.
With nearly 30 years of experience in hospitality across India and South Asia, Andicot brings deep expertise spanning hotel operations, consultancy, planning, feasibility, and development. Since joining Marriott’s Development and Feasibility team in 2006, he has played a pivotal role in driving growth momentum across India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh, signing more than 220 hotels for the region.
In 2024 alone, his team secured a record 42 hotels with 7,000 rooms in India and signed a landmark deal with Concept Hospitality, bringing The Fern portfolio of 115 properties under Series by Marriott. His leadership continues to expand Marriott’s presence beyond gateway cities into Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, while also diversifying into the residences segment.
