Toronto-based Canadian Turner Construction Company has appointed Mahendra Choubey as Country Executive – Data Center Sector, strengthening its leadership in global data center construction and real estate development.

A seasoned leader with over 18 years of expertise, Mahendra Choubey has successfully delivered 450 MW+ data center builds across APAC, AMER, and EMEA, overseeing capital projects ranging from $10 million to $250 million. His proven expertise spans site selection, colocation lease builds, MEP fit-outs, commissioning, and large-scale masterplanning.

Previously, he held senior leadership roles at ST Telemedia Global Data Centres, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, Nxtra by Airtel, Honeywell, Idea Cellular, Wipro EcoEnergy, and Vodafone, where he spearheaded data center operations, construction, and infrastructure development.

Recognized among “The APAC 50 Future Leaders” by Data Economy (2020), Choubey is known for his strengths in strategic planning, sustainability, government partnerships, and end-to-end project delivery. His appointment is set to further accelerate Turner Construction’s data center expansion strategy and sustainable infrastructure leadership in North America and beyond.
