Abdullah Biary has announced his appointment as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, marking a significant leadership milestone in the Kingdom’s digital transformation journey.

In his new role, Abdullah will lead cybersecurity strategy and digital protection initiatives aimed at strengthening the security infrastructure supporting millions of pilgrims visiting the Kingdom annually. His appointment aligns closely with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, focused on enhancing pilgrim experiences and advancing secure digital services across critical sectors.

With deep passion and expertise in cybersecurity, Abdullah brings extensive international experience gained over more than 11 years in the United States and the Middle East. His cross-regional exposure has equipped him with advanced knowledge in safeguarding organizations and government entities against evolving cyber threats.

His leadership is expected to play a key role in elevating digital resilience, operational excellence, and secure innovation within one of Saudi Arabia’s most vital sectors.
