Zaperon Raises ₹7 Cr Seed Funding to Secure the Agentic AI Era Deeptech

Delhi-based cybersecurity startup Zaperon has raised ₹7 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), marking its first institutional funding after five years of bootstrapping. Founded in 2021 by Vineet Gupta and Sachin Aggarwal, Zaperon is building a unified cybersecurity platform designed for the agentic AI era.

Its platform brings identity security, data security and AI governance together in a single console, helping enterprises manage how users, applications and AI agents access sensitive data and cloud infrastructure. Zaperon is SOC 2 Type II certified and serves organisations across banking, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and government.

The company plans to address the growing security challenges emerging as enterprises deploy AI agents across real-world workflows, particularly around non-human identities and access controls.

Why It Matters

As AI agents increasingly act autonomously within enterprise systems, securing their identities, permissions and access to sensitive data is becoming a critical cybersecurity priority.

Zaperon’s funding signals growing investor interest in security infrastructure designed specifically for the agentic AI era.
