HealthCare Global (HCG) has appointed Irfan Shaikh as Chief Operating Officer, with complete P&L and business growth responsibility. He will be based in Rajkot, Gujarat, and will oversee business operations and growth initiatives.
Irfan brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare operations, strategic management, patient care, business operations, people management and care quality improvement.
He previously served as Associate General Manager at HCG and has held leadership roles at Shalby Limited and Kimaya Heart Institute and Research Centre. Earlier, he spent nearly a decade with Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited, progressing through roles including Head Operations, Assistant Manager Operations and Senior Executive.
During his earlier tenure with HCG, Irfan led operational initiatives across multiple units in Gujarat, including implementation and NABH-related responsibilities, before taking charge of operations at HCG Hospitals’ flagship Ahmedabad unit.
His experience across healthcare operations and P&L management is expected to support HCG’s business growth and operational priorities.
