HDFC Securities has announced that Industry Veteran Ashish Rathi will assume the role of Head – Retail Business effective April 2026, while continuing as a Whole-time Director on the Board. This leadership transition follows his successful tenure as Chief Operating Officer and reflects the company’s strategic focus on strengthening customer acquisition and enhancing brand loyalty in a competitive capital markets landscape.

With over 27 years of exemplary experience in financial services and audit, Rathi is a seasoned leader within India’s capital markets ecosystem. He has spent more than two decades at HDFC Securities, progressing from a risk management specialist to a key member of the executive leadership team.

Rathi brings deep expertise in risk management and compliance, complemented by a strong foundation in statutory audit from Ernst & Young. In his new role, he will drive retail strategy, accelerate growth, and reinforce customer-centric innovation.
