Suraj brings more than 25 years of experience spanning security operations, critical incident management, administration, operations, projects and organisational leadership. Before joining Zydus Lifesciences, he served as Vertical Security Head, Adani Natural Resources at Adani Group, where he led security operations across six businesses spanning 12 states and more than 60 sites.
Earlier, he served at Amazon as Manager, Intelligence & Critical Incident Operations (CIOPS), India, overseeing security and resilience operations for a 24x7 Global Security Operations Center and supporting business continuity.
Suraj also spent more than two decades with the Indian Army, where he held leadership responsibilities across operations, projects, HR, training and logistics. He led large teams and cross-functional initiatives during his military career.
In his new role at Zydus Lifesciences, Suraj will contribute to strengthening the organisation’s security framework while protecting its people, assets, information and brand as the business continues to grow.
