Visa has announced the appointment of Suresh Sethi as Group Country Manager for India and South Asia, effective April 27, 2026. This strategic leadership move comes as the global payments leader strengthens its digital payments ecosystem and deepens partnerships across the region to drive financial innovation and inclusion.

With nearly three decades of experience in global financial services, Suresb brings a strong track record of leadership and transformation. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer at Protean eGov Technologies, where he played a key role in advancing large-scale digital infrastructure initiatives. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at Citi, gaining extensive international exposure across India, Africa, South America, and the United States, primarily in transaction banking within the corporate banking division.

His expertise spans corporate banking, retail financial services, mobile payments, and government technology programs.
