Aparajita Puri has been appointed as Managing Director for India and South Asia at Microsoft, marking a strategic leadership move as the company strengthens its footprint in one of its most important growth markets.

In her new role, Puri will lead Microsoft’s strategy, business growth, and operations across the region, with a focus on driving digital transformation and expanding enterprise adoption of cloud and AI solutions. Her appointment comes at a time when India and South Asia are witnessing rapid technological advancement and increasing demand for scalable digital infrastructure.

Puri joins Microsoft from McKinsey & Company, where she spent over a decade and most recently served as Partner, advising organizations on strategy and large-scale transformation. She has also worked with Bain & Company and interned at Deutsche Bank.
