Anup Kumar Saha has been elevated to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Kotak Mahindra Bank, taking on the leadership of one of India’s prominent private-sector banks. He has been serving as a Whole-Time Director and, since March 2026, has overseen retail banking, data analytics and marketing.
Anup joined Kotak Mahindra Bank in January 2026, bringing extensive experience across retail banking, consumer finance, data-led businesses and strategic growth.
Before joining Kotak Mahindra Bank, he served as Managing Director at Bajaj Finserv, where he spent eight years and played a key role in scaling its consumer finance business. Earlier, he spent 14 years with ICICI Bank, holding senior leadership positions across retail banking and structured finance.
His elevation comes as Kotak Mahindra Bank continues to strengthen its retail franchise, digital capabilities and data-led approach to customer engagement. Anup’s experience across banking and consumer finance will be relevant to these priorities.
