State Bank of India has announced the appointment of Sukhvinder Kaur as Deputy Managing Director – Operations & Channel Management, marking another significant milestone in her distinguished banking career spanning more than three decades.

A visionary banking leader, Sukhvinder Kaur has played a pivotal role in strengthening SBI’s retail lending, international banking, and strategic management functions. Prior to this elevation, she served as Chief General Manager – Retail Loans, where she successfully led one of India’s largest retail lending portfolios with an Asset Under Management (AUM) of ₹7 trillion.

Known for driving innovation, customer-centric banking strategies, and digital transformation initiatives, she has consistently contributed to enhancing operational excellence and customer experience across the organization. Her international assignments in Germany and the United States further enriched her expertise in cross-border banking operations and global stakeholder management.

With her strong leadership, strategic vision, and execution capabilities, Sukhvinder Kaur is expected to further accelerate SBI’s operational and channel management excellence at scale.
