Sanofi India has appointed Sudipta Chakraborty as Whole-Time Director, marking a significant leadership advancement within the organization. Having joined the company in June 2025 as General Counsel – India, her elevation within nine months underscores her impactful stewardship in legal strategy, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to Sanofi, Chakraborty served as Vice President – Group Legal & Compliance at Aditya Birla Group and as General Counsel & Head of Compliance at Roundglass. She has also held key regional leadership roles at FMC Corporation and Adient, building extensive cross-border expertise in governance, compliance, taxation, and mergers and acquisitions.

Her appointment is expected to further strengthen Sanofi India’s governance architecture and support its strategic growth ambitions in one of its key global markets.
