Sindhu Gangadharan Appointed Chairwoman of Nasscom

Nasscom, the National Association of Software and Service Companies, has appointed Sindhu Gangadharan, Managing Director of SAP Labs India, as its new Chairwoman. She succeeds Rajesh Nambiar, who has been named Nasscom’s president-designate. Under Gangadharan’s leadership, Nasscom will continue to champion initiatives aimed at establishing India as a global technology powerhouse.

Gangadharan, the first woman to lead SAP Labs India, is also SAP’s Global Head of Customer Innovation and Services. Her focus as Chairwoman will be on realigning the technology sector’s direction to maximize growth by harnessing the full potential of emerging technologies and driving tangible outcomes.

In addition to her role at SAP Labs, Gangadharan is the Chair of the Nasscom GCC Council and serves on the boards of Siemens India, Titan Company, and the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce’s Steering Committee. Her appointment underscores Nasscom’s commitment to fostering inclusive leadership and innovation in the technology sector.
