Intel Launches Core Ultra 200V Series in India, Redefining AI and Performance Excellence

Intel has unveiled its Core Ultra 200V series processors, codenamed Lunar Lake, in India. With retail availability from September 24, 2024, these processors are touted as Intel’s most efficient x86 lineup yet.

The Core Ultra 200V series promises to deliver “exceptional performance, breakthrough power efficiency, and advanced AI capabilities,” supporting over 80 consumer designs from more than 20 global manufacturers. Intel claims these processors feature the “fastest CPU core” and “fastest built-in GPU” for thin and light laptops, with up to 120 TOPs for AI compute and twice the performance per watt compared to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite.

Equipped with Intel’s Xe2 graphics architecture, the processors offer a 30% average performance improvement in mobile graphics. They also support AI-driven functionalities and up to 20 hours of battery life. Laptops featuring these processors will support a free upgrade to Copilot+ PC features starting November.
