ServiceNow has announced the launch of Autonomous Workforce, a coordinated system of AI specialists engineered to execute enterprise tasks within defined scope, governance, and audit controls. The initiative signals a strategic shift from experimental AI pilots toward production-grade, outcome-driven automation across business functions.
The company also introduced ServiceNow EmployeeWorks, integrating conversational AI and enterprise search capabilities from Moveworks into its AI platform. The solution enables natural language requests to be translated into end-to-end workflow execution across interconnected enterprise systems, streamlining cross-functional operations.
According to Amit Zavery, President, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, enterprises require AI that delivers measurable execution rather than conceptual pilots. ServiceNow stated that its Autonomous Workforce already manages over 90% of employee IT requests, with AI specialists resolving routine support cases faster while remaining compliant with policy and governance frameworks.
