Sanofi has significantly expanded its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, adding over 2.7 lakh square metres of workspace at its HITEC City campus. The expansion increases the centre’s workforce capacity from approximately 2,600 to nearly 4,500 employees, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to India’s innovation ecosystem.

The enhanced facility broadens operational scope across research and development, AI and digital innovation, advanced data analytics, medical affairs, commercial operations, and corporate functions. The campus was inaugurated by Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Minister for IT, Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana, in the presence of senior leadership.

Madeleine Roach, EVP and Head of Business Operations at Sanofi, emphasized the strategic role of India’s digital and AI talent in accelerating transformation across the drug lifecycle. Revanth Reddy noted that the expansion strengthens Telangana’s position as a global life sciences and innovation hub.
