Visionary Leader Salima K. Popatia has been appointed President at Bare Necessities, bringing extensive leadership experience in digital commerce, brand strategy, and global retail transformation. In her new role, she will focus on strengthening the company’s strategic growth roadmap, expanding consumer engagement, and advancing sustainable retail innovation.
Prior to this appointment, Salima served as Founder & Principal Advisor at SKP Consulting and as Founder & Board Chair of INDOMIX the collective, where she advised emerging and established brands on modern commerce strategies and digital-led growth models.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles across globally recognized consumer and luxury brands. These include positions at Orveon Global, The Estée Lauder Companies, Luxottica (Ray-Ban), and Stuart Weitzman, where she led initiatives in digital transformation, global brand development, and consumer experience strategy.
With deep expertise in scaling brands and navigating the evolving digital retail ecosystem, Salima’s appointment is expected to support Bare Necessities’ mission to advance responsible and sustainable consumer solutions.
